Samaritan’s Purse
Samaritan’s Purse North American Ministries (NAM) and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association’s Rapid Response Team (BGEA-RRT) have deployed to hard-hit Kerr County, Texas. Samaritan's Purse mobilizes staff and equipment and enlists thousands of volunteers to provide emergency aid to victims of tornadoes, hurricanes, wildfires, floods, and other natural disasters in the United States. The organization often stays behind after the initial response to rebuild or restore houses for needy families. I have volunteered with Samaritan’s Purse before, following Hurricane Helene in North Carolina, and they are an exceptional organization. Highly recommend.
Mercy Chefs
Mercy Chefs is providing hot, chef-prepared meals to victims, first responders, and volunteers in the days ahead. I have volunteered with Mercy Chefs—and interviewed founder Chef Gary Leblanc—and they run an exceptional organization. Highly recommend.
